Residential Recycling Do's and Dont's
Co-mingled Recycling
All co-mingled recycling products are to be placed in any size open top containers.
The following materials may be recycled at curbside:
Glass |
OK clear, brown and green bottles and jars
 |
NO window panes, light bulbs, mirrors or ceramics

Cans |
OK Steel (such as food cans) and Aluminum (such as beverage cans)
 |
NO foil, pie tins, aerosol cans or paint cans
|
Plastic |
OK PET plastic (soda bottles, plastic milk containers, laundry detergent) as well as HDPE plastics
NO plastic bags, motor oil bottles or butter tubs

Newspaper |
OK please place newspapers in brown paper bags or tie bundles with cotton string
 |
NO mail or hard/soft covered books
Please do not use tape, wire or plastic bags to bundle papers
|
Cardboard |
OK corrugated cardboard shipping boxes
 |
